Job Duties:

• Serve as a role model and leader for the department, creating a positive, hardworking environment.
• Assign job duties and responsibilities to team members.
• Understand all processes, establish SOPs, and perform an annual review of SOPs.
• Oversee, monitor, and conduct employee training.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, including safety, cGMP, and SOP requirements.
• Provide the manager with process improvement ideas.
• Readily identify problems and opportunities and quickly correct problems or implement changes.
• Create production schedules and ensure due dates are met.
• Evaluate assigned personnel and complete or participate in evaluations, progress reports, and disciplinary action with assistance from the manager as needed.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing and demonstrate the ability to follow instructions.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated history of reliability, supervisory capability, good judgement, high integrity, and initiative-taking.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• A minimum of four years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Experience in a regulated industry or a food or beverage processing plant is highly desirable.
• Computer skills are required.
